Colors By Llarowe Custom Color - Le'Strange

This polish is very special to me, my very first custom!  When I found out Colors By Llarowe was doing custom colors I couldn't email them fast enough.  After a bit of indecision I decided to request a Slytherin/Loki's cloak green scattered holo.  I wanted a lovely mid range green that could be worn for Halloween, Christmas, Spring, and Summer since I had nothing like that in my collection already.  I named my polish Le'Strange a play on the last name of the sinister Bellatrix from Harry Potter.  This polish is much more beautiful than I could have imagined.  I highly recommend creating your own custom color with Leah Ann, it is a wonderful experience!

Colors By Llarowe can be found here!  To inquire about a custom color of you own you will want to email l.larowe@llarowe.com.

Enchanted Polish Beautiful Rule Breaking Moth

Got a real beauty on the blog today!  From the most recent Enchanted Polish release we have Beautiful Rule Breaking Moth.  This polish is a lovely gray with gold shimmer and a generous dose of holo.  The name is certainly fitting since the polish shimmers like the delicate surface of a moth's wings.  Beautiful Rule Breaking Moth when on perfectly and was full coverage in two coats.

A England Sleeping Palace

Epic nail mail today!  I was really looking forward to this collection from A England.  As a semi responsible nail polish addict I had to limit myself to one color and I chose Sleeping Palace.  I always look for something unlike anything else in my collection and this was definitely the right choice.  Sleeping Palace is a beautiful plum holo.  The holo in it looks like gold dust with a bit of rainbow, a perfect compliment to the dark plum shade.

Hare Polish Bisbee

Labor day weekend mani!  Hare Polish's Bisbee is a stunning teal jelly loaded with gold hex.  It is inspired by copper and turquoise mines in Bisbee, Arizona.  This polish applied beautifully, not too thin and not too thick.  I used three coats to achieve a brighter more opaque color.  This is another polish so vibrant that you cannot take your eyes off your finger tips!

Nars Orgasm

I received this polish on Friday for my birthday, surprisingly it was from my Mum!  I wear the peachy pink Nars Orgasm blush all of the time and the nail polish is the same lovely shade.  This polish goes on very smoothly and dries quickly.  The gold shimmer makes it a great color for summer.  It is also one of those colors that make you look tanner, even when you are a pasty pale person like myself.

Rainbow Honey Bubble Beam

I have been really in to blue polishes these past few months and the new Rainbow Honey Bubble Beam polish is one of my favorite purchases!  This polish was inspired by Pokemon's water-type monsters and rainy days.  The polish is a bright blue jelly filled with glitter; matte white squares, iridescent flakes, and a mulitchromatic shimmer that gives the polish a bit of a pink color shift under certain light.  Shown on Milani's Brilliant in Blue here, this is one of those polishes that makes you stare at your nails all day, it practically glows!

Pahlish Partridge in a Pear Tree

Pahlish is the first indie nail polish company I ever purchased from <3 a great deal of my favorite polishes come from this shop and this one is definitely in the top three!  Partridge in a Pear tree is a light linen jelly with burgundy matte and metallic hexes, olive green squares and microglitter, and a red shimmer.  This polish is so complex I catch myself staring at it while at work :) particularly the subtle red shimmer that shines in the right light.  The red shimmer was impossible for me to capture in the photos, it is slightly visible on the out of focus thumb in the fourth picture.  The glitter applied very evenly and after three thick coats the jelly is opaque enough that the nail line is not visible.

Pahlish Partridge in a Pear Tree polish can be found here!  Along with the rest of the twelve days of Christmas polishes!!!
